GetMeal Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of GetMeal. This is a launch draft for legal review before publication at https://getaimeal.com/terms.
The Service
GetMeal lets you save recipes, import recipe pages, organize a cookbook, generate meal plans, and create shopping lists. Some features use AI systems and third-party LLM providers to parse or generate content.
Your Account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Contact support@getaimeal.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
Your Content
You keep ownership of recipes, notes, meal plans, shopping lists, and other content you enter into GetMeal. You grant GetMeal the limited rights needed to store, process, sync, display, export, and transmit that content so the app can provide its features.
You are responsible for the content you submit and for making sure you have the rights to use it.
AI Output
AI-assisted recipe parsing and meal planning may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your situation. Review ingredients, allergens, quantities, cooking times, temperatures, and food safety steps before relying on any output.
GetMeal is not medical, nutrition, allergy, or professional dietary advice.
Purchases
The v1.0 launch plan is a one-time purchase with no subscription. Purchases are handled by the relevant app store and may be subject to that store's refund and payment rules.
If GetMeal later offers subscriptions or additional paid features, the purchase screen must clearly disclose price, billing period, renewal terms, and cancellation instructions before purchase.
Acceptable Use
Do not use GetMeal to:
- Violate laws or third-party rights
- Upload malicious code or attempt to disrupt the service
- Reverse engineer or abuse GetMeal systems beyond what the law allows
- Submit content you do not have permission to use
Availability And Changes
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features as the product evolves. We aim to preserve exportability and user control over your recipe library.
Disclaimers
GetMeal is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free or that AI output will always be accurate.
Limitation Of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, GetMeal and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill.
